Just Add Beats: STEAM Learning Through Audio Recording
We live in a world of sound that can be explored in detail with audio recording technology readily available thanks to the digital revolution. This workshop will focus on how to integrate the arts of music and storytelling into STEM subjects via audio recording to create meaningful STEAM learning experiences for young audiences. Participants will hear examples of student work and get a hands-on opportunity to record a beat with digital audio recording tools in a group songwriting/recording session.
