DESCRIPTION:
Explore the world of audio engineering with Just Add Beats, a creative audio production camp. Campers work together in small groups, role-playing as Creative Audio Agencies competing to win real-world audio design challenges and earn a profit. With a local audio professional guiding them, campers learn:
• How to write, record, and mix original songs using virtual instruments with a digital audio workstation
• How to design sound effects for video games and movies
At the end of camp, campers take home a copy of their high-quality, original audio works that can be digitally distributed worldwide on platforms such as iTunes, Spotify, Splice, Mix Cloud, and more.
